Overnight desert tour from Errachidia

Overview:

Welcome to Morocco! Enjoy a two-day trip from Errachidia to the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy the quietness of the Sahara Desert with its beautiful landscapes. Make a short stop for pictures at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Ziz Valley. The transportation takes approximately two hours each way.

The trip starts at midday from Errachidia and ends the next day around midday in Errachidia.

Explore the old way of traveling through the desert by camel, plus sandboarding at the camp. Experience southeastern Morocco in two days with your private driver-guide.

In the Merzouga Desert, you have two transportation options for reaching the camp in the afternoon: camel trek or Jeep. The next morning, you can choose between a camel ride or Jeep transfer back to the starting point.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Errachidia - Merzouga.

Private trip from Errachidia to Merzouga Desert for two days.

One night in a desert camp, starting from Errachidia at 14:00 PM. It takes about two hours to reach Merzouga. On the way to Merzouga, you will have a short stop to take pictures of the Ziz Valley.

Then you continue to Merzouga. Your trip by camel will start in the evening and takes about one hour. Alternatively, you can take a Jeep to reach the camp.

The trek starts directly into the desert at approximately 17:30 PM. You will spend the night in a Berber camp between the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Inside your private tent, you will have a toilet, shower, and towels for your stay.

When you arrive at the camp, you can walk to the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. In the evening, there will be a wonderful dinner followed by Berber music.

Afterwards, spend the night in your comfortable Berber tent.

Day 2: Merzouga - Errachidia.

In the morning, you will wake up early and walk to the dunes to watch the sunrise. After that, it will be time for breakfast.

Then return by camel or Jeep from the camp to the starting point. Change from the camel or Jeep to your private vehicle and continue to Errachidia.

Arrive at your accommodation in Errachidia, ending the desert tour.
