Private Desert Day Trip from Erfoud

Overview:

Welcome to discover Berber life in the Moroccan desert.

Private short day trip from Erfoud to Merzouga Desert for 6 hours. The transport will be with a private 4WD vehicle, with outward and return transfers from Erfoud.

Have a walk in Hassi Labied Oasis garden.

Visit the nomads behind the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Drink tea there under nomad tents and explore how they live.

Later, drive to the Mifis Mountains where mineral extraction is still carried out.

Visit Khamlia village where you can listen to Gnawa music, an African rhythm.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with traditional Berber pizza.

For travelers who don't have much time, this trip is for you!

The trip starts at 09:00 AM from your hotel in Erfoud with a private 4WD vehicle. In one hour, you will reach the village of Hassi Labied, the beginning of the desert.

Here, you will have a walk through a desert garden for about half an hour.

Then, we will drive to visit the nomads behind the sand dunes. Drink tea there under nomad tents and explore how they live.

We then continue to the Mifis Mountains, where mineral extraction is still carried out.

After that, we continue to Khamlia village, where you can listen to Gnawa music, an African rhythm.

After enjoying the music, we will have lunch with traditional Berber pizza.

After lunch, we will drive back to your hotel in Erfoud, marking the end of the trip.

Around 15:00 PM, you will be back in Erfoud.
