Overnight Walk in Merzouga Desert

Overview:

An overnight trip in the Merzouga Desert usually combines a late afternoon walk into the Erg Chebbi dunes, lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, a night at a Berber desert camp with dinner and drum music around a campfire, and a sunrise return the next morning.

Itinerary:

First Afternoon: At 17:00 PM, an experienced guide will take you for an interesting walk in the desert.

You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise while feeling the sand beneath your feet.

We will walk for about one hour in the afternoon from the hotel to reach the camp, where you will spend the night in a private tent with a private bathroom, shower, toilet, and towels.

When we arrive, you will walk to the top of the highest dunes and watch the sunset near the camp.

At night, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and traditional desert music before spending the night in your comfortable private tent.

Second Day: The next morning, you will walk again to the dunes to watch the sunrise.

After sunrise, enjoy breakfast at the camp. Then we will walk back to the meeting point, which takes about one hour.
